This piece of music by Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849) is from 1839. It is an étude training three notes in the right hand to be played against four notes in the left hand.

RubenHogh: true story
SurvivingEvidence: 1 person is tone deaf.
Gulfstream005: Beautifully and expressively played at just
the right tempo. Pure pathos, though, I just
can't keep my eyes dry when listening to this.
levoxws: hermosa interpretación...
dianitaanzola: Esta si es musica.
iampauleybaby: LOL. Anyway, it's a very good interpretation.
And it's not at all to slow. Perfect speed,
IMHO.
coeyat: Very carefully :)
44STYLE187: too slow to my mind
WilfriedAnonymo: I was looking at your left hand for the
melody, simply because thekeyboard's upside
down. :P
Great job on a great interpretation.
chevalierhadrien: Everyone has his own way of playing it...
I find this interpretation a bit slow, but it's
undeniably beautiful. :)
And yes, Chopin's music aren't all just
exercises, however, it took me quite some time
to handle the two rythms and synchronise both my
hands. =P haha, what an Etude.
lllllllllllllll88: Beautifully done!
xxDressedInBlackxx: indeed, an etude is a piece composed for
practicing piano skills.
4ubi: You speak like the Chopin's music is just an
exercise...
domxxx999: learn a section very well hands seperate. Then
try to play the melody with proper beat and
"fake" the left hand (i.e. try to sync but pay
more attention to the right). Do the same with
the left. Then repeat until u get it.
afertyus1000: get the middle of each bar notes to meet and
play hands seperately
ManWithManyShurikens: this piece is so kick ass hard to play but once
you get the pattern its easy :)
Well played
HoshigakiFumiko: Thanks for the video, you are really good!
HarveyTruffaut: Thanks
iampauleybaby: great job. how does one best practice the 4
against 3 pattern?
MissElbaroda: Thanks for posting this.
i will play this
tiroirdelmare: I like this!
Katharina1962: Sehr schön und gefühlvoll gespielt!
Anders039: The 4 against 3 pattern sounds hard. Well
played.
cubusdk: I was very fascinated myself by this piece of
music when stumbling upon it on Youtube some
time before posting my version. I don't think it
is widely known, at least I didn't knew it
myself.
jasjjb: Beautifully executed. Sensitive play and a
wonderful melody. Thank heavens for Chopin. Not
a piano player myself but I love this composer's
music.
Thanks for posting this. Cheers !
