Sackla: this thing is marvelous! thank you for the
pleasure of listening. though i think it's
gonna be too difficult for me, i'll give it a
try :)
thank you again!
cubusdk: You a right that the reverb level seems to be to
much on this video. But the reason is the
youtube soundcompression that seems to turn down
the volume when the original volume is high and
turn it up when it is low. Especially in the
start and ending it is obvious that the
reverb sound is increased after the played notes
because of this concept. The orginal mp3 of this
piece, available on my website, sounds rather
good I think. The dynamics is intact and the
reverb level sounds reasonable.
LVB1770: Thanks for introducing me to this composer. Your
dynamics and voicing are really nice. My only
advice is to turn down the reverb by 35% or so.
You don't need it because your legato is good. I
don't usually like digital piano recordings but
your's are always good.
mistmv12: thanks for yr reply :)
cubusdk: Gade was a Danish composer born 1817. In a
period he lived in Germany making friendships
with Mendelssohn and Shumann. This piece is from
1850. It is one of 10 "akvareller"
(watercolour). He died 1890.
mistmv12: who is the composer? would you mind telling
me more about him/her? thanks
