MissHappyNinja: this is beautiful! im playing this for my
grade 7 exam :)
matttgic: too much reverb...
efrainc23: your performance is beatiful, I saw other in
youtube and it seems that they are playing a
metalurgical machine, no heart whatsoever.
OuketPil: Waw, your hands are dancing ! It's wonderful to
see you playing these musics!
DoctahDizzle: Where can I get the music for this piece (I
mean the notes)?
RemovdSande11: hey Cubus, can you tell me if you use a reverb
patch for environ reverb ? if so can you tell
me which ? because im having trouble getting a
nice reverb sound on my East West Pianos..
zielarzopl: this is nice performance. i'm working on op. 39
no. 9,10,11 now . these waltzes are really
great.
hierogram: cubusdk san, Anata no piano sound wa itsumo
Utskushii
MartaBtrp: Nice!
burn3dblack: i love this one what others have this kind o
a feel that just drags u in?
RakkSemilath: great performance!!
cubusdk: When I played an acoustic upright piano I
actually experimented with a microphone and a
reverb component and let the reverb sound come
out from loudspeakers while playing -
imitating a concert hall. It augments the
pleasure of playing tenfold in a "dry" room.
And yes, weighted keys are a must when playing
classical pieces.
RP747: Thanks for the info!
They both sound worlds better than my crappy
acoustic Everett, though. And more comfortable
to play than my Yamaha MO6, with those weak
plastic synth keys.
cubusdk: It should be mentioned that the Casio sound (and
Yamaha) is send through a computer soundcard
adding environ reverb. The bare sound from the
Casio is not interesting and the build in reverb
possibilities are no good.
cubusdk: The piece you mention is played on a Casio
CDP-100. The last 27 videos are played on a
Yamaha P140 which is superior to Casio keaboard
(and cost about 2,5 times as much) but I agree
that the Casio sound suits some of the pieces I
have played very well, my favorite probably
being Felix MENDELSSOHN: Op. 30, No. 6, [v02].
RP747: What type of piano/keyboard are you playing? I
love the sound, especially on the Chopin pieces.
Sounds beautiful. I've been up all morning
trying to learn Op. 64 No. 2, after I heard your
cover!
cubusdk: I usually only memorize faster pieces or
passages.
I have not played an ordinary piano since my
first period of playing the piano in the 1980's.
I'm quite satisfied with the sound of the
electronic piano I have used for the last 27
videos.
LVB1770: You must be a hell of a site reader to post all
the music you do,it's crazy! I would love to
hear you on a real piano.
