poetsgirl: cubus plays a beautiful piano
gabrielapetrie: The sheet music I have seen for this does
describe a dotted half-note over a rest in the
same measure as two quarter-notes in 3/4 time.
I'm glad I found this video so I could hear one
rendition of how to play those longer notes, and
I decided to play them slightly differently,
though for all I know this is how Purcell
intended it to sound.
szellajos: Though I'm not sure if Purcell meant it this
way, also there might be different sheets around
but I really love the way you play it with
dotted notes and right hand legato. Has a
totally different mood, turns baroque to classic
or even romantic (I'm not really good when it
comes to styles).
Edazer: Your grammar is all over the show...
Lawl...
Fantastic playing, man...^^
TheSia15: i know this song by flute
ebonypiano: I love this piece.
turbonelli: Fantastisk, Cubus! Et så sjældent spillet
nummer af en så sjældent spillet komponist. Og
spillet med en så sjælden indfølelse.
captainampersand: such a great piece. Trying to learn it, and it's
harder than it looks.

animalmother1065: Stunning melody. Thank you.
Norman60Fahrer: I like to play this one because it has a very
magical quality and one can come up with a few
nice variations. It was my first encounter with
H. Purcell.
You play it beautifully.
