mvdbergrede: You must know very little of classical music. Eever heard of the term 'rubato'?

freestylerja16: I first heard this on nip tuck...and I'll never forget that scene...

wanderingalibi: Simply stunning. Your right hand work is just perfect...

JonnyCashmore: Exactly...and most of the classical guys can't get it! They are to used to simply reading off a page and listening to a metronome. Check out "A Winged Victory for the Sullen" or "Stars of the Lid" to immerse yourself in the classical revolution which is taking place right now....only the classical music world seems to be oblivious!

pianushko: Original by who? Every pianist plays it differently.

MsFloopdedoop: You deserve so much praising for you interpretation. It's honestly sends shivers down my spine. So beautiful...so haunting.

GunnyZoSo: Precisely, the tempo is all the difference.

ijlaldoc: J aime bcp c grandiose

Icarodefrancisco: FANTÁSTICO.......BEM EXECUTADO...... MAS EU A INTERPRETO COM MENOS RUBATTO. E MAIS LENTA....MAS DO SEU JEITO FICOU PERFEITO!!!! BRAVO!!!!

PeithoPie: Your hands, I love your hands. You caress the keys, so sensual. Who cares if it's 20 seconds shorter, it's your interpretation and it's beautiful. I am in a dreamstate,

heintjebier: great sound and feel but a bit too fast for my taste... could be so much better playing the emphasized parts a little bit slower. this is almost 20 seconds shorter than the original!

seanrm1: You really are brilliant! I have been watching all your videos for instruction-thankyou-Satie-even better than Chopin-how fortunate we are to have such divinities in our time~

laurentjutier: Très belle interprétation !

Elia14021997: I adore it!!! Well done!

Bujorock: The fingering of this pianist is amazing and the sound is light and beautiful. But there is definitively too much rubato in this interpretation...by my point of view. I prefer it slower with a more regular tempo, sober.

NovaScotiaChick: mmmmm my favourite gnossienne! Beautiful...

MyReflection77: way to beautiful...no words to destroy what already was meant to be destroyed....marvelous

RICPOIRIER1: Très mélancolique et poétique! Une interprétation superbe!

Sensenwerk: my god! this masterpiece played with such perfection and feeling - love it!

Musicapurissima: This musique is like making Love... An obscure feeling yet intense and the way you play it is like the notes create a net of pure melancholic sound... Beautiful... Carlos

ruddenberg: I can only agree! +1!!

GJ0KYZ: I have no training in music so I bow to your superior knowledge here! I just like this piece better when it's played quicker.

Setheth: i believe the correct tempo is 54 and the piece should go for 3m33s which puts it slower than this. I prefer it played slower. At the same point I'm a big believer that once published the work is open to interpretation... but if we're talking "correct" then this is faster than originally intended

musefreek: so lush...

lovepiano69: Beautifully played!

Erik Satie: Gnossienne No. 4.
